Lowestoft Yard Medical Incident

– 11th December 2013

It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the death yesterday of a Subcontractor who was taken ill and collapsed on the yard. The air ambulance and emergency services were dispatched to the site within minutes and conveyed the man to James Paget hospital, where he later died.  The incident was not accident related, but is thought to be related to an existing medical condition. The man whose next of kin have been informed cannot be named at this time.

Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends at this sad time.
