100 mile cycle challenge - Norwich 100
– 25th March 2014
The team consists of eight Sembmarine SLP employees who will cycle the Norwich 100 on the 1st June 2014, to raise funds for Keeping Abreast Norwich. All have varying degrees of cycling experience, with several jumping back on their bikes for the first time since school.
The charity helps to support local women through their journey of breast reconstruction following breast cancer or preventative surgery due to family history. They facilitate community meetings and events where women have the opportunity to meet and talk to others who have shared a similar experience.
The Sembmarine SLP team aim to raise £5,000 for the event and have almost reached an amazing £4000 so far!
With the team training hard for the big day, some members have entered the Cambridge 50 mile ride next month as a warm up for the event.
